On this tour, we leave Lisbon in a comfortable luxury car and, in approximately 1h20, we arrive in Fátima. At the sanctuary, our driver-guide will share details about the history of the apparitions and the events linked to the site. This will allow our clients time to attend Mass and experience their faith. After lunch, we will visit the simple and charming houses of Jacinta, Francisco and Lúcia. We returned to Lisbon after an unforgettable day in Fátima.

  The statue of Saint John Paul II in Fátima is a tribute to the Pope who had a deep connection with the Sanctuary of Fátima, in Portugal. The statue is located within the sanctuary and was inaugurated on May 13, 2008, to mark the 90th anniversary of Our Lady's apparitions. The work, created by Polish sculptor Czesław Dźwigaj, represents John Paul II in imposing size, with papal robes and the processional cross. The Pope is portrayed with a serene countenance, reflecting his Marian devotion and his gratitude for having survived the 1981 attack, which he himself associated with the intercession of Our Lady of Fátima. John Paul II visited Fátima on three occasions (1982, 1991 and 2000) and was one of the great promoters of the message of Fátima in the world, consecrating the world several times to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. If you are planning to visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, the statue is one of the points worth seeing, as it symbolizes the strong connection between the Polish Pope and this place of faith.
